Managing Files

The Files tab is a full file manager for your server — everything that would normally be an SFTP session or a terminal is available here in the browser.

Uploading Files

Click Upload and select one or more files, or drag them directly onto the file list. .zip archives can be extracted in place afterward from the same per-file menu described below — the fastest way to upload a world folder or an add-on/plugin bundle.

Warning
The browser uploader caps out at 100MB per file. A full world or modpack almost always exceeds that — use SFTP instead, which has no such limit. Your panel credentials work for both.

Editing Files

Click any text file (.properties, .json, .yml, .txt, and similar) to open it in an in-browser editor, with a language dropdown for syntax highlighting. Click Save Content when you’re done — not by re-uploading.

Note
Config file changes only take effect after a restart — the running server already has the old values loaded in memory.

The Per-File Menu

Click the ⋯ button on the right of any file or folder for: Rename, Move, Permissions, Duplicate, Archive (zip it up), Download, and Delete. There’s no right-click context menu — everything lives behind that button.

Deleting Files

Danger
Deleting a file through the panel is immediate and permanent — there’s no trash or undo. If you’re not certain, create a backup first, especially before deleting anything inside your world folder.
