How to Show Coordinates

Bedrock doesn’t have Java’s F3 debug screen on every platform — consoles and mobile can’t open it at all. The showcoordinates gamerule turns on a small on-screen readout instead, and it works the same way across every platform.

Enabling It

bash
gamerule showcoordinates true

Run that from the panel’s Terminal tab — no / needed. In-game, the same command works with a leading / (/gamerule showcoordinates true), as long as you have operator permission — /gamerule doesn’t require cheats to be turned on, just that permission level.

You’ll see it confirmed in the log:

text
[INFO] Game rule showcoordinates has been updated to true

Coordinates appear in the top-left corner of the screen for every connected player. Run the command again with false to turn them back off.

Note
This is a world setting, not a per-player one — it can’t be shown to one player and hidden from another. It’s saved with the world, so it survives restarts and only needs to be set once.
